Two friends from Anaheim, California, Famoso & Lafleur grew up listening to hip-hop, and eventually started making their own music for fun. The duo both started out rapping, with Niko eventually switching over to the production and Bob taking full reign on the mic. After a busy 2008 to 2011 where they released several projects, they decided to take a hiatus from music, later returning in 2017 with their ‘Bada Bing’ EP.

After taking a 4-year hiatus from music, Famoso & Lafleur return with the follow-up to their debut EP ‘Bada Bing’ with their debut full-length album, Styles & Tribulations. Through a combination of Lafleurs’ laid-back beat making with Famoso’s playful lyrics and delivery, the album transports you straight back to the glory days of the 80s & 90s West Coast hip-hop movement.

Hailing from Anaheim, CA, Famoso & Lafleur, are a duo comprised of two locals, Bob Famoso and Niko Lafleur. Having been friends since Junior High, the duo have been making music together since 2005 where they would download instrumentals, rapping over them with an old computer mic or a $15 dollar mic from Radio Shack.
